The most expensive tools aren’t always worth it—but some truly are.
In this video, I’m breaking down 15 expensive tools and gear that I’d actually buy again.
From Knipex pliers and cutters, to Wera drivers and ratchets, to Veto tool bags and even high-end work boots—these are the tools that prove their price.
If you’ve ever wondered which premium tools are really worth the money, this list covers the ones I trust.
We’ll go through hand tools, power tools, and gear that stand out in quality, performance, and durability. Every one of these costs more than a budget version—but delivers results that justify the price.
Whether you’re an electrician, tradesperson, or just someone who appreciates pro-grade tools, you’ll see why these 15 belong in a serious kit.

The Rack-A-Tiers bits are my favorite I’ve used. I have a whole bunch of Red/Green Robertson ones that I use for residential electrical in Canada. They fit great, and they last a long time.
The autofocus is letting you down in this video. I don’t know if you can get a better lens for the overhead to avoid the camera having to constantly refocus. The other shot where you sit far away from the camera then shove various tools in to the camera is cursed and a nightmare for focus.
