A video I’ve been wanting to make for a while. I hope this video will help some of you out there who are starting your tool collections. It’s only my opinion, and I’m not always right. I hope others will leave comments on tools they would recommend starting out with so that others can learn from them as well.
Here are some Amazon Affiliate Links for some of the tools in the video. As always, prices fluctuate, so prices posted in the video are from during filming.

I found a whole kit nut drivers in my box and had my friend weld them into a Christmas tree.
9:42 nah, get the snap on with the fold out light bar. Icon has a better one that’s cheaper as well
Excellent video as always. Although I love my Snap On tools, if I had to do it all over again I would buy as many Icon tools as I could and primarily buy Snap On for their ratchets.
because of my budget I wasnt even buying sets when i started. I got a 15mm wrench cause thats what i needed for my belts and oil pan lol so my Rule evolved into Buy when you need and upgrade only when on sale if it breaks
I’m not a mechanic, just a weekend warrior, Great video!!
Thanks , keep them coming.
