You don’t pick a brand. Once you’re 30 you just get sorted to one color like in harry potter
If I could go back I’d go Hercules, I have dewalt 20v stuff and Hercules 12v stuff, unless you need a specific tool they don’t make then the warranty you get with Hercules is too good, and they are 90% as good as the bigger brands if not more
Dewalt and Milwaukee has good tools. Dewalt is a bit cheaper than Milwaukee for the most part. I have both. I have more dealt than Milwaukee. Most of my tools are dewalt, but I do have a handful of Milwaukee tools too because Dewalt doesn’t have it. For example, Dewalt does not have the extended under ratchet. Dewalt has very powerful tools these days and I got a lot of Dewalt batteries from the bogo deals throughout the years. And Dewalt offer better bogo deals throughout the year than Milwaukee.
You’re right about a lot of things but I’ll clear one up to start- Ford is the best truck and I’ll die on that hill lol
Years ago, I invested in the Craftsman 19.2v line, which they soon discontinued in favor of a new 20v setup. As those batteries began to die, I had to choose something… I went Dewalt and am pretty heavily invested in it now with no regrets. But… this past spring I wanted to get away from my 2 cycle trimmer/blower and go cordless and after lots of research, price comparing, YouTube watching… I ended up with 18v Milwaukee. I did not like the 20v Dewalt trimmer, I would have had to invest in their 60v FlexVolt at a high entry point and the Milwaukee gave me the option of changing attachments. (the die hards should look away now) I even have an adapter to use a Dewalt battery in the Milwaukee blower- it does not fit into the trimmer space/design. I figured introducing a second battery platform gave me more opportunity to take advantage of sales and also find deals second hand such as Facebook Martketplace. All that said, for the DIYer getting started and looking to save a few bucks, Hercules/Bauer at HF, Ryobi both have good options (Ryobi’s lineup is huge).
I don’t usually comment on videos, but the editing in this is PURE GOLD. Love the content. Great video.
