I have Ryobi and Ridgid cordless kits and I can’t tell any difference.
It’s because red is a more ‘powerful’ colour – green just seems a little weak. I honestly think that is most of what’s going on. I love their garden range, I got into their tools because no cables in a big garden is a huge deal, and 8 years ago they were the only battery system that supported a bunch of garden tools. Then since I had the batteries I got the tyre inflator, then the shop vac etc… Just works. I can have 1 battery system and do the garden, fix things in the house, clean stuff, pump up a tyre etc…
I love my trimmer but it quit working and the Rapid Repair at Roybi service is terrible I have been waiting for some time to get a return shipping lab le and getting the run around made 6 calls so far . I think they want you to get frustrated and buy a new one.
home owner use mostly Ryobi love my miter saw once i made a station for it and screwed it down it works great for me got it on sale think it was 129 for the 10″ one.
