I have 2 Craftsman boxes, one is 20 years old. Both that one and the newer one are junk quality. My 2 newer ones are Kobalt and they are good quality for the price, far superior to Craftsman.
i have several craftsman boxes, old n new. they work fine. at the end of the day, they’re just boxes for tools.

I guess boughten is a thing
Craftsman tool boxes have gotten alot better, they had alor of issues when SBD took over and started making them. The quality and steel thickness are both better now. Especially with the v series
