Cordless Drill and Tool Storage Rack – Shop Organization

Easy Cordless Tool and Cordless Drill Storage Rack

In this video I make a very simple cordless tool storage rack. I have seen many different types of cordless tool storage and often (in my opinion) they are over complicated. Tool storage should provide three basic benefits: accessibility, organization, and compression (saving space). These three are present to varying degrees in any storage solution. The ideal balance is relative to the tools and the work that will be performed. Organization may be paramount, and because of this, the tools will be packed away, highly compressed, hindering accessibility. Sometimes, like in the case of this cordless tool rack, accessibility is more important than compression. There are some very good solutions for bar clamps that manage to find a nearly optimal balance between the three. I won’t go into it here, maybe in another video. 😉

  1. I was thinking this was all you need as I have to get something to hold my cordless stuff so I know where it is when I need something. So interestingly this video shows up today in my feed.
